My wife had the French onion soup and she also thought it was excellent we came here for the Monday night, meatloaf special, which we already knew we loved! Great spot very busy they require reservations. Excellent bar scene as well. ”

“ The start of the experience was weird with the host making an awkward comment about whether he could "make me happy" by seating us early because we came 10 min early. He also just seemed like a jerk. The servers were nice and polite though. We got a booth which I liked. It was busy on a Saturday night with a lively bar and happening music. The menu is eclectic ranging from chicken parm to French to salads to fish tacos. It made my husband and I skeptical about whether it would be good but we stuck to the French food and really enjoyed it! The bread basket was basic and good, plain well cooked French bread and butter. I had the Malbec and my husband had the Bordeaux which were both good but not great, with a generous pour we appreciated. The coconut curry mussels had an amazing sauce that I would definitely want again that came with perfect French fries. The filet mignon was a little smaller than I hoped it would be, but was perfectly cooked and seasoned and came with perfect French fries and good but not great sauce. The French onion soup was good but I don't know if I would order it again just because the sauce was a little watered down and it was more cheese than onion but it was good. Overall we were really impressed with this restaurant mainly because of the coconut mussels. Would definitely come again, we had a great date night there! ”

“ I have dined at Bar frites many times. It is located close to my sister's home. The food is reliably good, as is the service is attentive and always courteous . It's often very busy & bustling. My favorites are; the tuna tartare, fish tacos, beet salad and steak frites. My go to order is often the salad nicoise. Recently their lunch appetizer special, steamed clams. The clams were sweet as could be. ”

“ I've had the pleasure of dining at Bar Frites a few times and every time was a great experience from start to finish! The moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by the friendly staff. The food was awesome. We had the arugula prosciutto pizza, fried calamari, baked clams, escargots for the table. I really enjoyed every one of them. For dinner I ordered the hanger steak, which was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. My son devoured his pasta with vodka sauce, and he couldn't stop raving about it. What truly sets Bar Frites apart is the exceptional service. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to ensure our every need was met. The manager was particularly great with kids, he came over and amazed my kids with a water glass trick. The restaurant has a great vibe, and the lively bar area adds to the energetic and inviting atmosphere. Overall, I highly recommend Bar Frites to anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience. “ Came during weekend brunch hours - group of 6 Very very noisy and crowded Located in a stopping strip center so plenty of parking Starters - Chinese chicken salad was large enough for all 6 to have a nice portion. Light wonderful flavor dressing - bread and pastry basket. Had very interesting mini pastries but didn't see any bread so they put some down for the table. - challah French toast with berries. Delicious - mushroom quiche- very moist - burger without bun looked a little overcooked to me - roast beef sandwich with fries looked amazing. I was jealous. I'll get that next time. Desert - we all shared a drop of strawberry napoleon which was amazing!! Not your typical napoleon. Good coffee. Great service. Not overly expensive. ”

“ Great neighborhood spot, food is always consistent, great cocktails. The Thai mussels are a great starter, the sauce is delicious, the waiter forgot to give us bread which you will def want to dip in the leftover sauce. Served with or without fries, shareable portion. The grilled calamari is always my go to when I see it on a menu, this dish did not disappoint, little grilled and drizzled with olive oil. For entree I was very disappointed in the steak frites, I mean the restaurant is called Bar Frites! This dish was mediocre at best, nothing to write home about. The sliders are a better option. Tuna tartare was also good, fresh tuna on top of spicy avocado. The baked clams and apple tart were just ok. Host was great, bartender & waiter weren't very attentive or friendly. I've dined here quite a few time and had much better service. ”
